Having always loved creating art in her youth, Jody rekindled her artistic talents in 2010 at the Indianapolis Art Center.  What started with one printmaking class has blossomed into a wonderful journey into the world of printmaking.  Jody’s experience includes relief printing, etching, wood engraving, screen printing and lithography.  Her prints are inspired by things that catch her eye and amuse her in everyday life.  Her work has continued to evolve and most recently, she has learned the processes of wood engraving and lithography.

Jody serves as Treasurer for the 67th Street Printmakers and is a member of Indiana Artists Club, Wood Engravers Network (WEN), Indianapolis Art Center and Newfields.

Jody lives in Carmel, IN.  Part of the year she spends time as a tax accountant with Somerset CPAs.   In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, creating sidewalk chalk art with her daughters (https://www.instagram.com/brunschalkdrawings ), and playing in the Carmel High School Parent Pep Band.
