Having always loved creating art in her youth, Jody rekindled her artistic talents in 2010 at the Indianapolis Art Center.  What started with one printmaking class has blossomed into a wonderful journey into the world of printmaking.  Jody’s experience includes relief printing, etching, wood engraving, screen printing and lithography.  Her prints are inspired by things that catch her eye and amuse her in everyday life.

Jody serves as Director and Treasurer for the 67th Street Printmakers and New Member Jury Chair of Indiana Artists Club. She is also a member of Wood Engravers Network (WEN), Indianapolis Art Center and Newfields.

Jody lives in Carmel, IN.  Part of the year she spends time volunteering with AARP as a tax preparation accountant.   In her spare time, she enjoys cycling, spending time with family and creating sidewalk chalk art (https://www.instagram.com/brunschalkdrawings )
